Dr. Slakey has served as Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago since 2018, and Chair of the Department of Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2016. His diverse expertise encompasses clinical practice, teaching, curriculum design, and leadership in medical education. He has participated in regional and national education committees and has successfully acquired grants. Dr. Slakey has also managed and consulted on complex system management in health systems science, showcasing his ability to handle the field's challenges and opportunities. He champions these ideas in his new book, The Process Manifesto: Improving Healthcare in a Complex World.

Julia Morgan is Associate Professor of Public Health and Wellbeing at the University of Greenwich, London. She has a PhD from the London School of Economics which focused on the health and wellbeing of children and families. By background she is a health professional and previously worked in community development and engagement to empower communities and as a researcher on a child development study. Her multi-disciplinary research has focused on the experiences of women diagnosed late with ADHD; mothers in prison; and children who experience the imprisonment of a parent. Her more recent work includes research on the training of community health workers in Tribal areas of India; mobile health for Nomadic peoples in Mongolia, ADHD and ethnic minorities, and maternal health for Indigenous women in South America. She has carried out several evaluations of community groups and non-government initiatives in Lebanon and Zambia and has used a wide range of community development tools to support the engagement of community members, including children, in research and evaluation. She is the co-editor (along with Dr Vincent La Placa) of three books with the publisher Routledge: 1) Social Science Perspectives on Global Public Health; 2) Contemporary Issues in Health and Social Care Policy and Practice: A Comparative Introduction across OECD Countries; and 3) Contemporary Global Issues in Urban and Rural Public Health and Wellbeing: Theory, Policy, and Practice. She has successfully supervised over 100 PhD and MSc dissertation students and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal PLOS One.

Mihajlo Jakovljevic MD PhD MAE is the only representative of Serbia ever elected in UNESCO-TWAS Academy Membership. Since 2018, he is appointed to top tier EACHR Committee, World Health Organization. Holds Professorship at Hosei University Tokyo, Japan, funded by the JSPS; Expert Affiliate of the Center for Health Trend and Forecasts, Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, University of Washington since 2016; held Forte-funded Senior Visiting position at Lund University, Sweden, 2018-2020. He published app.350 papers in refereed journals (app121,200+ citations, Hirsch factor 82). In 2015, he was the first ever nominated candidate based in Eastern Europe for the elections of the International Health Economics Association Board of Directors. In Editor-in-Chief capacity he leads prestigious CERA, BMC journal (IF=2.803) Founding Specialty Chief Editor of Frontiers in Health Economics 2016 - 2021 (IF=6.461). Public health practitioner with extensive government, higher education and non-profit industry experience. Expertise in infectious disease program planning, research and evaluation. Scientific Interests: epidemiology of infectious diseases, and application of theoretical models to evaluate interventions designed to modify health behaviors.

BB has a multi-disciplinary education, covering mathematics, physics, systems engineering, electronics, medicine, informatics and medical informatics, including habilitations in medicine and informatics. Before his retirement, he was Head of the German National eHealth Competence Center. He was leadingly involved in many countries health digitalization as well as electronic health record strategy. He was and is still engaged in international standardization at ISO, CEN, HL7, OMG, IEEE etc. Furthermore, he still engaged in international higher education.

Dr. Jia Xu is the lead PI for two significant grant projects funded by Singapore National Medical Research Council and Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), and also a Senior Scientist leading the gut microbiome studies in the longitudinal birth cohort - GUSTO and preconception cohort - S-PRESTO at the Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (SICS), A*STAR. Her research focuses on unravelling the role of the gut microbiome in the development of metabolic and allergic disorders in children and women, utilizing a longitudinal and integrative multi-omics approach.
